Yo! We're mixing things up this year like a chocolate-banana shake--kinda weird and yet good stuff. What's different? There's no traditional large group for one...Look below to see what's up:

Dinner on Tuesdays

On Tuesday evenings at 6 pm, we all meet in the Abbey-Buck Dining Hall to have dinner together and catch up on each others' lives. Feel free to join us!

Bible Studies
IVCF is having one Bible study on campus this semester.

Julia and Meredith are leading a study on the book "The Pursuit of God" by A.W. Tozer. We'll meet every Wednesday night at 7:30 pm in the South Rocky living room. Email jenewton if you want more info.

Morning Prayer
Come pray to start your day out on the right foot! It takes place Monday-Friday, 7-8am in Wilder living room, and is hosted by one of our sister organizations on campus, Daughters of Zion.

South Hadley House Church
Provided by MercyHouse (not IV) but is recommended.
On Thursday evenings, MercyHouse (a church in Amherst) is having a house church (it's like a bible study) at the home of a family who lives here in South Hadley. We'll have teaching, worship, and time to get to really get to know each other so we can be involved in each others' lives. For more info about MercyHouse and the house churches, visit their website. Contact Katherine (kdhogg) for more information about going to house church.

May 6, 2006 - MusicFest 2006
This is still a long way off, but save the date! This our 4th annual Music Fest, a big concert to showcase the diversity in Christian music. Last year Michelle Brooks, Derek Webb, Renew, and Seda performed, and it was AMAZING to hear God being glorified all over campus! It takes a lot of work to put this concert together, so if you're interested in helping out, get in touch with Katherine (kdhogg) or Lindsey (lwpoole). The biggest way you can help out is to keep lifting this event up in prayer!

Random Ideas that just might work
Tell us if you're interested in kick-starting these into exsistance.
Operation Christmas Child- make shoeboxes of christmas gifts to be hand-delivered to children in countries stricken with war, plages, famine, or natural disaster.
Mocktails @ Los Vegas Night- Wanna help people have fun remembering one of the craziest nights of the MHC year? IV could set up a table to mix fun non-alcoholic drinks to help keep the party happier and healthier.
When it snows, go to the parking lots to clean off peoples' cars and leave a card on the windshield that says "courtesy of the MHC Christian Fellowship." followed by lots of hot chocolate and other warm beverages :-)
Mother's Day card event - we buy lots of cards and stamps, reserve a table in Blanchard, let people passing by fill out a card for their mom/grandmother/other important woman in their life, and we mail them for free!
telnet workshop, to teach the firsties (and some upperclasswomen) how to use telnet.

If you have any other creative ideas for how IVCF can be useful on campus, let us know!
