What is InterVarsity?

MHC InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is part of an international Christian student movement founded at the University of Cambridge, England in 1877. Today, InterVarsity USA and our sister movement, International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, are active on hundreds of college and university campuses in 140 nations.

MHC students have been actively a part of the national InterVarsity student movement since the 1960s. Hundreds of MHC alumnae continue to financially support and pray for the ministry of MHC InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

MHC IVCF is funded entirely by the MHC Student Government Association and the generous support of local churches, MHC alumnae, and friends.

Our Purpose

In response to God's love, grace and truth:
The purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is
to establish and advance at colleges and universities
witnessing communities of students and faculty
who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord:
growing in love for God,
God's Word,
God's people of every ethnicity and culture
and God's purposes in the world.
