What do The Renegades do?

The Renegades is the roleplaying club at Mount Holyoke College. We play structured pen and paper roleplaying games, such as Dungeons & Dragons, d20 Modern, and Paranoia, as well as card games, board games, and freeform roleplays of all kinds. More importantly, we are a social network for geeks of all kinds. In addition to larger events such as Ren-Con and Get Your Geek On, we also host several smaller gatherings throughout the year, such as movie nights and Blank White Cards. We are a very active organization on campus, and we are always welcoming new members.

I've never roleplayed before. Can I still join?

YES. The DM (Dungeon Master) and other experienced players can help you make a character sheet and teach you how to play. It may be a little confusing to jump right in at first, but within a few sessions you'll be roleplaying like a regular!

Do I need to buy anything?

No, we have club dice and books that you can use, so you don't need to spend any money to participate.

You can also come to our weekly main meeting, which is on Friday afternoons at 4:00, in 202 Skinner Hall (you'll hear us). Feel free to show up and join us!
