How does it feel to be a conservative at a predominantly liberal institution?

"I think it can be difficult to be conservative at a liberal
institution. It took me a couple of years to even openly admit to being a Republican here. Now, I'm not afraid to stand up for what I believe in. There's a great source of support in the College Republicans. I still get frustrated sometimes because there is so many liberal protests and activities; I feel like wherever I go on campus I have to read liberal-based posters. It just motivates me even more to want to get a
conservative view out. It makes me want to ensure that *everyone's* views are heard here and not just the views of the general population. It's incredibly important that all future generations of MHC women have the opportunity to express their views, whatever they may be."

	Election Committee Member Duties: - Call for the election of club officers between April 1 and April 30 of each year, to be announced in writing to all members not less than three weeks in advance. - The Election Committee Chairperson and the MHCR Secretary shall prepare a list of members eligible to vote and distribute this list to all declared candidates by 5:00 pm 3 days after the close of membership eligibility. - Election Committee shall run elections, count all ballots, and announce the winner of all elections.
