Mount Holyoke College Republicans are tough. The Mount Holyoke College Republicans (MHCR) are the lone conservative voice on a campus of 2,200 students. The MHCR don't back down, inside the classroom or outside. MHCR strive to present conservative viewpoints on campus, no matter how strong the opposition, in order to accomplish a truly well-rounded education for all Mount Holyoke students.
Mount Holyoke College Republicans are leaders. MHCR annually host prominent conservative speakers, including the Executive Vice President of the NRA, Wayne LaPierre, and the Head of the Oakland, CA NAACP, Shannon Reeves, as part of their Conservative Awareness Month. They also apply their political expertise to work on local, state, and national campaigns for Republican candidates, and to serve the MA State Party.
Mount Holyoke College Republicans are supportive. The MHCR provides a supportive and accepting atmosphere to students on campus that identify themselves as Republicans or Conservatives. Being in the minority can often times be a challenge, and the MHCR weekly meeting provides a forum for students to discuss their viewpoints without fear of dismissal or ridicule.
Mount Holyoke College Republicans are intelligent. The MHCR hope that through the organization's activities and bonding, Mount Holyoke College Republicans will develop political skills and leadership abilities that they will use to further the conservative movement beyond college. MHCR can use their experiences to further their educational pursuits and to be conscientious of their values beyond Mount Holyoke's gates.
Mount Holyoke College Republicans are tech-savvy. This website was built to share information more efficiently within the club, and to allow supporters outside of the club to more informed and involved with the MHCR. The club appreciates any and all support and is happy to have people from all over join us in our events to spread conservative message!
