SGA Goals 2008-2009

Fall 2008 Goals

1. Educate
   1. Educate the senators so that they are clear on their duties and therefore are able to perform to their best
      1. Increase senator attendance and participation
   2. Get more individuals involved in SGA
   3. Make more students aware that Senate meetings are open and available to them to utilize (student concerns section)
2. Strengthen
   1. Relationships with offices on campus
   2. Have committee members report back regularly to Senate so as to shed light on committee activity
   3. Support organizations and groups on campus with their activities
3. Review
   1. The use of the Airport Van and continue it with improvements
   2. The SGA Constitution
   3. The state of the MHC Yearbook Llamarada
4. Increase publicity and visibility on campus using a variety of media (newspaper, radio, reaching out to other organizations, website)

SGA Spring 2009 Goals:
In addition to the goals listed above:

1. Review compensation for the Executive Board members
2. Support organizations and groups on campus with their activities
3. Increase participation, awareness, and recruitment for end of the year elections.
