Bone marrow drive and educational campaign
An Educational event: The event will feature a M.D./Ph.D. from Bay State Hospital, a past donor, a past receiver, and a letter from a family who lost a twin brother from leukemia (one past away after bone marrow transplant).

Discovering and succeeding in your path in biomedical sciences
Dr. Gita Bosch, Associate Dean of Gerstner Sloan-Kettering Graduate School, Associate Director, Graduate Studies, Sloan-Kettering Institute, will give a talk on campus on career planning and admissions for graduate and professional schools. The talk will be specifically for students from liberal arts colleges.

19th - Science résumé Workshop! Come have your résumé checked out and get help on improving it! In Shattuck lounge (first floor) from 4-6 PM. Refreshments will be served.
22nd - NEBHE conference at MIT. Join us at this conference for networking, checking out grad schools, potential employers, get some advising, and maybe get some internships! Please RSVP with Vivian (anhoang) and register at the site.
28th - Casual lunch in the Hahn room (Carr G13) at 12pm.
We have more events planned for the semester including casual lunch talks with faculty/fellow students, trips to conferences, and internship help. They will be added as we get more solid dates for them.
