EXECUTIVE BOARD

Central Staff:

ALL CENTRAL STAFF: Will be required to attend regular (weekly) Executive Board meetings in addition to any other meetings required by their position. All E-Board members must be willing to work with other board members to implement appropriate and well-produced events that reflect campus needs and interests.

1. Chair: Responsible for coordinating and supporting other members of the Network board as well as for organizing weekly board meetings. Works closely with the Treasurer to prepare a budget for the year and with the advisor (Student Activities Staff member) to monitor the Network's activities. Also acts as the Student Government association representative.

2. Treasurer: Works with other board members to handle funding for the year and establish funding for the following year. Handles all monetary transactions for the Network and works closely with the SGA Ways and Means Rep. Attends SGA meetings when the Chair cannot. Must have at least one-year experience as treasurer and show exceptional organizational skills.

3. Secretary: Responsible for taking minutes at meetings of the Executive Board. Works with the Network Chair to create agendas for upcoming meetings. Assumes duties of Chair at E-Board meetings in her absence. Takes charge of sending courtesy responses on behalf of the board. The Secretary also performs office upkeep duties, including room and space reservations.

4. Public Relations Manager: Works to develop and promote an image of the Network to the administration and 5-College community. Serves as a link between the Network and campus/professional media sources. Works closely with Publicity Team Coordinator and Tech-Support Director to ensure consistency in image promotion. Keeps Network web page up to date with coming events, as well as profiling members and old events

EXECUTIVE BOARD

Team Leaders:

ALL TEAM LEADERS: As members of the Executive Board, Team Leaders will be required to attend regular E-Board meetings. Additionally, Team leaders will appoint students to form a coordination team that includes but is not limited to, a Publicity Coordinator and at least one other assistant. Team Leaders will coordinate, facilitate and attend Team Meetings.

A. Concert: Responsible for selecting, booking, and planning large-scale concerts. Works to establish channels of communication with student body to effectively represent student interest in event selection. Manages and Oversees Concert Coordination team, focusing on recruitment, advertisement and promotion of talent as well as coordination, staffing and production of events.

B. Publicity: Works with a representative from each Network Team to design, produce and distribute publicity on and off campus. Coordinates and attends Publicity Team meetings, facilitates brainstorming sessions for new promotion plans. Must be creative and energetic and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

C. Special Programming: Coordinates Fall and Spring Weekends (including traditional events such as Las Vegas Night, trip give-away, and Dorm Olympics) and other various large-scale campus events (such as lectures, performance arts, etc.).

D. Sports and Recreation: Develops Intramural Sports program in conjunction with the Kendall Athletic Department. Works on Spring Weekend competition events in conjunction with the Special Programming Chair (Dorm Olympics).

E. Thursday Night Edge: Coordinates Thursday night musical performances (3-4 per semester) and coffeehouse open mics focusing on local talent and independent artists. Required to contact perspective artists, establish a relationship with their management, settle contract agreements and coordinate event production.
