Outcomes

Mount Holyoke alumnae excel, both in graduate school and in the working world. When your daughter graduates from Mount Holyoke, she'll join a long line of smart, ambitious, and energetic women who have made a difference in just about every field imaginable.

Approximately 40 percent of Mount Holyoke alumnae enroll in graduate, professional, and postbaccalaureate programs within five years of graduation; approximately 67 percent enroll within ten years of graduation. Berkeley, Chicago, Columbia, Harvard, Stanford, and Yale are among the graduate programs to which MHC sends many of its students. A survey of the class of 2003 showed that 94 percent were employed or in graduate school six to twelve months after graduation.

Preprofessional advising, job fairs, one-on-one counseling, and workshops on such topics as interviewing techniques and writing cover letters are just a few of the many resources available to your daughter at Mount Holyoke's Career Development Center (CDC) Web site, which includes a section designed especially for parents.
