Position Description

We are seeking two undergraduate students to serve as Residential and Teaching Assistants (RA/TA's) for the upcoming summer program, June 28 - July 25, 2009. Each TA will assist with student investigations, as well as with afternoon and evening activities. RA/TA's will work closely with instructors and students. RA/TA's will attend a week of staff orientation prior to the beginning of the program (6/21 to 6/26). Pay includes five weeks room & board and a stipend of $2,000.

Desirable Qualifications for Candidates

Candidates should be undergraduates with strong a mathematics background and coursework. Demonstrated leadership and listening skills, ability to work on a team, stamina, sense of humor, and interest in working in a creative atmosphere is desired. Residential counseling experience in multicultural environments is a plus.
