Summer
of 2003:
During July of 2003, 4 field members went to Linné Lake to
establish some of the equipment and gather preliminary data. A permanent
weather station, three temperature logging stations, and lake moorings
(with temperature loggers and sediment traps) were set-up over this
20 day period. While there a staging site was established in the
glacier melt-water stream, and several water samples were taken
and filtered. All in all, it was a successful field season filled
with good work and a couple of laughs...
