Anna Megill is an Ada Comstock Scholar at Smith College, currently pursuing an English major/ Digital Arts in Computer Science minor. Upon her graduation in 2008, she hopes to write video game scripts professionally. In addition to her studies, Ms. Megill edits papers as a Peer Writing Assistant at Smith's Jacobson Writing Center, assists in the Executive Director's office at Smith ITS, performs QA testing for game developers, edits dialogue for downloadable casual games, and still finds time for occasional nights of bartending. Ms. Megill is concerned about the absence of feminine perspectives in the media, especially the multi-billion-dollar, extremely male-dominated gaming industry. Promoting women's perspectives, both as producers and consumers of games, is Ms. Megill's primary concern.
