Passing Glances
Jennifer (Yaojie) Wu. I'm currently a junior at Barnard College majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior, with an interest in exploring "how we know what we know". That translates into the unusual combination of behavioral studies of brain activity and written explorations of the tutor-tutee interaction within the writing center. As a writing fellow I am most interested in how dialogue within the writing center creates new knowledge for the writer and the writing fellow that is mutually informative; I believe that sharing one's writing allows for the generation of new insights into one's thought process. I am also pre-med and plan on using my interests in science and writing to become a successful doctor-writer in the future.
