David B. Truman Employee Scholarship

The Mount Holyoke College Staff Council is pleased to oversee the David B. Truman Employee Scholarship, which was established in honor of former MHC president David B. Truman. A minimum of $200 each year is awarded to a qualified daughter, son, or other dependent child of a Mount Holyoke College employee who will not receive any other assistance from Mount Holyoke College for tuition costs for the applicant.

The scholarship is to be used to offset the cost of education at an accredited school for postsecondary education. Candidates must be a high school senior. Considerations include educational goals, high school achievement, and character.  Staff Council members will evaluate applications and select a recipient.

Application deadline: Monday, May 5, 2008
