Elections

The Mount Holyoke College Staff Council shall consist of 13 elected staff representatives who are not teaching faculty, bargaining unit employees, or full-time members of the student body.                        

The Staff Council will work to effect change and to achieve common goals by advising, consulting, and making recommendations to the College administration on matters affecting the staff.  The Staff council will function as a part of the College structure as a voice of the staff to the president, the Senior Staff, and other College administrators.                
                
The process begins with a call for nominations in April. Once the nominees are notified and have accepted the nomination, the elections are held in May. The Staff Council voting is done electronically by going to online and following the instructions to vote. You are NOT restricted to vote for your own division.  Cast a vote for all available positions.  Once  you log out your vote is set. Your vote is closed on the last day of voting, so you can revisit your choices and change them if necessary.  We look forward to counting  your votes next year.
