Residential Life

Mount Holyoke College is a residential college, which means that 93 percent of students live on campus. As a result, students share their learning and their lives. Friendships develop over early-morning workouts, late-night study breaks, and in labs, libraries, and residence hall common areas.

With students from 48 states and nearly 70 countries, Mount Holyoke truly is cosmopolitan. You’ll get to know women from all kinds of backgrounds and with all kinds of interests. You’ll be part of an exciting community of individuals on a campus that’s not only beautiful but also friendly. And talk about lively neighbors—you’ll also be connected to the people and resources of the University of Massachusetts, as well as Amherst, Smith, and Hampshire Colleges.
