Faculty Resources
Mount Holyoke College professors collaborate with SAW to create rich, intensive, academic support for their students. SAW works closely with faculty new to the program as well as with longtime innovative faculty partners.
SAW Mentors enhance the classroom experience by offering individual and group guidance on speaking and writing projects.
Pedagogy Workshops conducted by faculty for faculty address best practices and pedagogical questions for teaching writing- and speaking-intensives courses.
Writing and Speaking Guides for faculty have been developed to support writing and speaking practices in the classroom.
The SAW Center provides individual and group peer mentoring sessions for students working on various writing and speaking projects. Faculty are welcome to promote this resource to their students.
Print Resources are available that contain strategies for strengthening specific writing and speaking skills for students.
Resources for teaching ESOL/Multilingual Learners are available for faculty to continue to develop effective practices for working with diverse students.
