Fall 2007, Spring 2008 Bearing Witness A year-long series that will explore the issues of testimony, the politics of advocacy, and the multiple ways in which acts of witnessing enable, educate, and inspire us.
Spring 2007
Family Matters The first part of the series looked at the historical, political, legal, and social context relating to marriage and civil unions. The second part explored ways in which women are shaping today's American military.
Leading Women in the Arts Series: Reflections on Art This ongoing program reflects the center's support of public presentations by scholars, artists, writers, and practitioners that engage the academic work of the College with the public sphere. Invited guest artists are featured in public campus discussions about the interconnections between creative expression of all forms and cultural transformations.

The Migrations series explores the ways in which the earth and humankind are immersed in epic, substantial, and sometimes irreversible acts of migration.

Acts of Reconstruction
Explores the provocative ways in which land, history, law, art, and society have been transformed, challenged, threatened, and protected as a result of acts of reconstruction.
