A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate at the Springfield Marriott Hotel. The hotel is located in downtown Springfield just off the I-91 exit, in walking distance from restaurants and local attractions, approximately a 20-minute drive from Bradley Airport and a 20-minute drive to the college campus. Complimentary shuttles will run between this hotel and the college campus regularly throughout the conference weekend. Friday registration and the first evening event also will be held here.

Reservations must be made by October 19, 2009 to guarantee the discounted rate. To receive the discounted rate, use the online booking code “NPTNPTA.” If you reserve your room by phone, indicate you are a part of “NCPTW.”

The Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place
One Monarch Place
Springfield, MA 01144
(413)-781-1010

The Sheraton is located directly across the street from the Marriott Springfield Hotel. Participants who stay here can easily walk to the conference hotel to catch the shuttle to campus. Note that we do not have a block of rooms guaranteed here though, so rates and availability are variable.

Additional Hotels
Participants who have their own transportation to/from campus may consider other hotels in the nearby towns of Hadley, Amherst, and Northampton. Travel from a hotel to MHC by car from these towns will average 20 minutes.

Bed and Breakfasts

Participants looking to splurge and experience a bit of New England charm might be interested in considering a local Bed and Breakfast.
The Daniel Stebbins House is a delightful B&B within walking distance to the MHC campus; space is limited, so plan early. We also recommend the Ivory Creek Bed and Breakfast, a beautiful inn owned by an MHC alumna about 10 minutes drive from the college.
