Public Events
The Weissman Center hosts public programming that enhances students' abilities to think independently and analytically. Each semester focuses on a theme with public and personal implications for the global community.
From examining the political, environmental, and cultural meanings of water to looking at the ways women are shaping today’s American military, the Center’s public events engage the MHC community through lectures, debates, workshops, and seminars. In the process, students dialogue with leading scholars, activists, politicians, and writers.
