Cultivating the Leader Within: Women's Power and Purpose

  • Discover your unique leadership talents.
  • Explore new ways to project your strength and confidence.
  • Get to know your peers from the Sister Schools and build life-long connections.

"Cultivating the Leader Within: Women's Power and Purpose" is a series of  interactive gatherings where you will learn new skills, gain new insights, and come away with a deeper understanding of what it means to be an authentic and effective leader in any situation, whether or not you have an official title. (Plus you will have fun meeting other students!) The spring leadership workshops are open to all Mount Holyoke and Smith College students, regardless of background or experience.

Join us on February 10th on the Smith College campus for "Cultivating the Leader Within" kick-off event. Network with your peers from Sister Schools and local colleges over a delicious brunch. Then head into a session on negotiation facilitated by Sara Laschever whose recent book, "Women Don't Ask: Negotiation and the Gender Divide," has received national acclaim. Roundtrip transportation on 2/10 will be provided from MHC to Smith campus. Register for the Networking Brunch and Negotiation Workshop, or the Workshop only.

The 2/10 kick-off and all other skills-building workshops are free. Come to one or all of them! Workshops will be offered on Mount Holyoke and Smith College campuses. Register today!
