Effects of Global Warming
The effects of the an enhancement of global temperatures could raise sea levels, change precipitation and more severe weather, and local climate changes could occur which would specifically transform forests, crop yields, and water supplies. Also the reduction of the ozone layer could result from the increase of greenhouse gas emission. Because of these natural alterations, human health, animals, and some ecosystems could be altered causing a total shift in the worlds overall function.
The United States is the biggest contributor to the emission of greenhouse gases.“In the United States, approximately 6.6 tons (almost 15,000 pounds carbon equivalent) of greenhouse gases are emitted per person every year.” The majority of these emissions are done by the production of electricity and the function of cars.
