The latest news is that I'm moving (well, moved really, but not quite there yet) to Seattle for grad school. I have been accepted to the Univ. of Washington and will be attending grad school in Library and Information Science starting September 25th. Yay! I'm very happy about this and think that being in school again, while somewhat scary, will be good for me. got a new domain! spareoom.com is now mine and, thanks to cos, up and running. I plan on eventually moving this to my own server, but that means getting one up and running...and I've been thinking about that for years now, so we'll see how far it goes. For those of you who do not know the reference, Spare Oom was the land where Lucy, Edmond, Peter and Susan came from when they went through the Wardrobe (or the country of Ward Robe) into Narnia. It seemed to fit with my theme of rooms on my web page. Besides, it's hard to find a good domain, and I didn't want to use either spamme.com or crowleyfoundation.com as my home domain. Well, it's been a long time since my last news update, a little over a year...so let's see what I've been up to. No car breakins, but I'm about to move, so who knows how long that will last...I got an incredible apartment in Seattle (come visit!) and my two very good friends, Lisa and Alx, live in Seattle with their new baby, so that's good news. I've met lots of cool people (Esther, Amanda, Bear, Chuck, Liz, Donna), fallen in (and out of) love, resolved and overcame old fears, started running, been able to take out my tongue piercing without it closing, rediscovered my idealism (somewhat) and spent some wonderful time discovering the joy in being outside. That's about it!
