Mike Crowley, Ralph Crowley and Laura Williams
1971, my parents were married at my maternal Grandparent's Farm in Sunderland, MA. Ralph is my Grandpa2. Now seems a good time to explain where that name came from. My mom's parents lived near us, so I saw them often, so when I talked about my dad's parents, I called them Grandma and Grandpa 2. Seems natural that if I were counting them, the grandparents who I didn't see as often would be second, but I also think that I meant "too" as well as the number. Not sure, though...that may have been something that came up later, or maybe it came from my parents saying, "This is your grandmother too," I can see that happening...who knows. Well, no one was offended and they both used the 2 when writing.
