is mainly directed at achieving a an equal and just Ireland for its people.
Really taking off in the 1970's the Sinn Fein party appealed to the working
class Catholics in Northern Ireland. However the organization was originally

" we ourselves," due to the fact that the Irish Catholics did not want
to serve on the British Westminister Parliament, they wanted a government
of their own. Their goals also included the right to attain self determination,
promote peace, and end British rule in Ireland.
