This is a picture of me in front of the grave of Mary Lyon, the founder of Mount Holyoke College.  I am dressed all in white for the Laurel Parade, a tradition where all of the alumnae who have returned for reunion proceed through campus dressed in white, followed by the senior class, also dressed in white and carrying chains of bay laurel.  The laurel can be seen in the background, draped around the grave.  The parade takes place the day before our Commencement.

These are my friends Audrey and Becky. They also also went to Westtown.
These are my friends Meg and Jess with our elfee Alexis. We all climbed Mt. Skinner for Mountain Day in the fall of 1998.

This is my sister Rosie. She goes to school in North Carolina, at Guilford College.  Right now she is in Ghana, studying at Cape Coast University.

This is my mom's dog, Marquis de Tache, affectionately known as Marq. You can see more pictures on Marq's page.

This is a page I created for a class called "World Views of Uncommon Women."  It is about Mary Woolley, former president of Mt. Holyoke College and her trip to Geneva. This is a page I helped create for a class called African Popular Culture.  It is about AIDS and Africa.  To go to my part, click here, to go to the index page, click here.

The summer that I was seventeen I worked at an outdoor theater in rural North Carolina.  We did two historical plays about Quakers: Sword of Peace - about Quakers and their reaction to the Revolutionary War - and Pathway to Freedom - about Quakers and the Underground Railroad. I was a technical intern, working in the scene shop and the costume shop, running lights and working with the weapons; and I was also in Sword of Peace.  This picture is me as a "townie" in   Sword of Peace.  To find out more about Snow Camp, click here.  This is my Dad.  He works at Guilford College.  Both of my parents and my sister went to or are going to Guilford College, which makes me sort of the black sheep in the family :)
