| About Us | Dr. Raymond Craft The original concept was to develop a relationship between a community here in the USA and a community in need in some other part of the world. Our initial effort of community to communitiy action was with Olney, Maryland to Ghazni, Afghanistan. This came out as I had a client from Ghazni who expressed an interest and need. We started 3 years ago with a plan to ship medical supplies. Montgomery General Hospital here in Olney agreed to donate medical supplies that were often destined for destruction. Some of these items including medications, bandage materials, suture material, sterile surgery gloves, small pieces of medical equipment, and antibiotics are collected by hospital staff. They are then separated on a basis of need, and value. |
