The Dosing Project. To measure change due to addition of nitrogen, phosphorous and other elements in water run-off from sugarcane fields around Lake Okeechobee. To make and index and set a standard of acceptable amounts of these elements.

Clones? Purpose of this experiment was to determine whether or not the major plant species of these sites are clones.

Why AFLPs. Through use of two enzymes and two rounds of PCR amplification, very small bands can be made that will be differentiated within a few base pairs through use of an automated sequencer and computer analysis of amplified fragments.
