Introduction


   This page is not strictly about Lenin or the Bolshevik Revolution. My goal here is to discuss what moves history and the men and women who are its active participants. In other words, I want to find what shapes a movement and the minds behind it.
   The Bolshevik Revolution has such a rich history that it appears to me the perfect tool to use in search of these answers. Because Lenin is often depicted as the mind epitomizing the Russian Revolution, I found him an equally useful and necessary means of attacking the issue.
