Eva Paus is the Carol Hoffmann Collins Director of the McCulloch Center for Global Initiatives and Professor of Economics at Mount Holyoke College.
Her research and teaching cover economic development, international economics and globalization. She is the co-editor of Global Giant, Is China Changing the Rules of the Game? (2009), and the editor of Global Capitalism Unbound. Winners and Losers from Offshore Outsourcing (Palgrave Macmillan, 2009 2007), and her most recent book is Foreign Investment, Development and Globalization. Can Costa Rica become Ireland? (Palgrave Macmillan 2005 University of Costa Rica 2007).
In her teaching, Professor Paus has been at the forefront of introducing active learning pedagogies into her economics classes; in particular debates, simulations, and case method.
