Founding Director, McCulloch Center for Global Initiatives, Mount Holyoke College, 2004 onwards

Founding Co-Director of the Weissman Center for Leadership at Mount Holyoke College, which evolved out of the Center for Leadership and Public Interest Advocacy, of which Professor Paus was the founding director (1998-2001).

Co-leader of an initiative to expand students' understanding of East Asia. The Freeman Foundation supports the project over a three year period with a $200,000 grant (2009-2011).

Leader of a project to explore how to make it possible for every student to have a meaningful learning experience abroad. The Teagle Foundaition supported the project over an 18-months period with a $ 100,000 grant (2006-07).

Co-leader of the case method project at Mount Holyoke College to promote case method teaching across the curriculum. The Hewlett Foundation supported a two-year pilot phase of the project with a $100,000 grant (2000-2002).
