I came to the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life after 16 years in the MHC Psychology and Education Department. I have always been interested in religion and wanted to expand my knowledge. I really enjoy the contact with students and meeting students from different faiths and different countries. I like the multifaith perspective and inquiry that takes place here at Eliot House. Religious celebrations very often include food and I am enjoying the introduction to different kinds of food too.
I keep the calendar for the Abbey Chapel and make reservations for weddings and other events in either of the two chapels and for rooms in Eliot House. I supervise several student assistants who help me create and distribute flyers for the various Religious Life events on campus as well as ordering supplies, arranging events, reviewing budgets maintaining the website and many other projects that come along.
My hobby is watercolor painting, pastel and stained paper collage. Below is some of my work.
The first painting is Marylou's Wheel Barrow, the second painting is Al's Dinner, Chicopee, MA , the third painting is Sandwich, MA Gazebo, and the fourth painting is Summit House Trail in Hadley.
