Cancer is a rapidly growing disease in the world today. The American Cancer Society estimates in 2008 alone there will be 1,437,180 new cases diagnosed in the United States. Internationally, cancer killed 7.6 million just this past year. By 2050, the American Cancer Society estimates that number to increase to about 17.5 million people. As the statistics continue to grow, the American Cancer Society is doing more to find a cure. |
