Gromov-Witten/ Donaldson-Thomas correspondence with descendants.

The first part of the talk is an introduction to Gromov-Witten (GW) and Donaldson-Thomas theory (DT). Both theories are concern about the count of curves in 3-spaces and relation between these theories is a manifestation of gauge/string duality. In the second part of the talk I will describe an extension conjectural GW/DT correspondence in the presence of gravitational descendants. The conjecture involves some misterious represenation theoretical objects. The conjecture is proven in the case of P1 fibration over some surfaces. Joint work with Okounkov and Pandharipande.
