My Story Background My Unlucky 13th Mission The Underground The Capture Stalag Luft IV Black Death March Our Liberation	(Left) Beulah and Charles Harpin with me, Kelley Harpin. (Right) Charles and Beulah with my parents Debbie and Robert Harpin. This website is a tribute to my grandfather, Charles Clement Harpin. He was a tail gunner on B-24 Liberators, a member of the 8th Air Force and shot down over Harre, Belgium. He was a Prisoner of War at Stalag Luft IV POW Camp and was part of the "Black Death March".
