"No woman can call herself free who does not own and control her body. No woman can call herself free until she can choose consciously whether she will or will not be a mother." ~Margaret Sanger
The struggle for reproductive rights is a struggle that women have been fighting for centuries. Women’s reproductive rights are specifically the right of unrestricted access to birth control, abortion, and family planning. These rights historically are an especially controversial subject due to the moral, ethical and religious considerations. In the US, this has been a very emotionally and politically charged issue, especially in the recent elections.
