Let me first say that this website was created to state why I disagree with the sale and slaughter of horses in the United States.  While I may not agree with worldwide consumption of horsemeat, I am not arguing that horsemeat be banned from the menu in other countries.  Although I have been a lifelong fan of horses my preferences do not dictate my argument.  There are definite moral, in addition to business and health related reasons as to why the United States should not market the meat of their horses internationally.
