He was born in early August of 2004, but adopted by me Oct 20th, 2004. He is a mere 2 lbs of bone and fur when he went to his first vet appointment on Nov 4th, 2004. He's a dwaft rabbit so he has floppy grey ears and will probably remain under 8 lbs. Other birth marks he has are the occassional grey spot on his face and around his eyes, as well as a grey number "1" on his back- I kid you not! He is my little racing rabbit! He has big back feet which seem to get into everything and a very little white (with a small grey spot) tail. His favorite food is brocolli, although carrot tops are a close second. He also likes: lectuce, cucumbers, parsley, apples, pineapples, grapes, cherries, raisins, cranberries, peppers (green and red- sweet), rabbit pellets, hay, grass, whole carrots (but not so much the baby carrots), rice crackers, pop corn, and my homework! A few pictures of my baby in action! I got him a ball of wood to play with... he seems very excited about his ball. So excited you cannot drag him away. Well perhaps rabbits do not play with balls in nature. He did however decide it was a great chew toy and promptly ate it in a week. Oh like most things in life, animal butt amuse me. Can you find a tail in this picture? You can almost see his number 1 on his back in this picture. This is Baby Bunny on Halloween. He went as himself, a bewitched bunny. "Mommy play with me!" Baby bunny says everyday. When I say that I'm busy, bunny goes around the house and amuses himself. Usually this involved hiding behind objects and find more dust bunnies for me to clean up. So thats my little baby. He may pee occassionally on my bed or in my shoes.. but I still love him!
