About our BusinessBecky's Dresses was founded in 2007. The founder, Rebecca R Nowak, realized that the process of buying a brand new dress to wear for only one occassion is very uneconomical and unsustainable. Men rent tuxedos while women pay an arm and a leg for a new dress. Becky orriginally thought of beginning a dress rental, but with fashions constantly changing this would be a difficult business to run. So the next best thing would be to create a pre-owned dress business. Like, "Plato's Closet" for the prom, or your wedding.
