I've always loved art/design as a hobby since I was little. I got into music, so never really had time to take real art courses beyond the middle school level. Then in college, I started to learn how to make websites by writing out HTML and CSS codes. I guess I just like how you can write out all this code that looks confusing, and then once it is read by a browser, it can look very artistic.
So, most projects in this gallery are web-related. Go ahead and browse....
- Website of MHC Jazz: I have been webmistress since fall 2006. I both designed the theme, as well as added updated information, some written by me, some taken from the previous website, and some sent to me by Mark G himself. The old theme was.... pretty dull, really.
- Study Abroad Website: I decided it would be good to organize everything (pictures, advice, stories...) all onto one website. Plus, I think the background image of Germany outlined in light-red is just awesome.
- Study Abroad Online Journal: Obviously, the webdesign of this is to be credited to Livejournal, not to myself. The project part of this is simply my wonderful entries about my travels, cultural realizations, international encounters, linguistic marvels, and so much more.
- Cheetah Writes: My brand-spankin'-new public blog. Posts here range from random philosophical thoughts to everyday happenings.
- Becky's Dresses: This is NOT a real business, nor is it a real business plan... I just made this as an exercise in web design. Enjoy.
...and some are not so web-related.
