Students at Mount Holyoke College have the advantage
of being part of the Five College
Consortium and can, therefore, take courses at the
University
of Massachusetts (Amherst), Amherst
College, Hampshire College,
and Smith College, in addition to their
home campus. In particular, you should note that the University of
Massachusetts, Amherst economics department has the best graduate economics
program in the country. This means you can be sure that even the
teaching assistants there are top notch. You should feel free to
explore opportunities at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, or the
other colleges.
