The purpose of this website is to outline the different feelings about Fidel Castro in both the United States and Cuba. It is also to give a broader perspective of Castro, not just from the viewpoint of the United States.

My Opinion:

I believe that in each country, there is a mixture of feelings and reactions toward Fidel and his regime. No one country (either the US or Cuba) has one single or overwhelming view. However, sometimes it does appear that the US would rather focus on the negative aspects of Fidel's regime rather than the few positive ones that there are like health care, education and infant mortality rates.
