Hello and welcome to my site on the global views on abortion. My name is Sarah Hoke, and I hope you find it useful! The reason behind this website is twofold: first, because of my World Politics class at Mount Holyoke College; and second because I always found it interesting about how hot a topic in the US abortion is. I've always heard about the different stands people have taken on abortion through my fellow Americans, but I rarely have heard what other countries are following or deciding for their citizens on this issue. It's impressive the variety, and how much religion is an influence in how a country will decide what to do. The purpose of this website is then also to mass the information on this subject, so all you viewers out there on the web can come to understand it as well, or at least be more knowledgeable on the topic.
