Argentina, one of the South America’s biggest economies has been subject to long period of economic upheaval. Due to unstable political situation many drastic economic policies has been implemented. Some policies instead of helping Argentine economy, has further deteriorated the economy. Introduction and eventual failure of convertibility plan is one of the prominent events in the history of Argentina.
