WE ARE WHAT WE EAT

In the world today large changes must be made in the way that we consume and produce food. We must a surplus of food with a deficit, stop the horrific treatment of animals and reverse the destruction of our environment. Choosing what to eat is a decision that is affecting us more today than it ever has in history. We can no longer think that production is the solution to hunger. We can no longer believe that ignoring the low standards of food production in the U.S. is the same thing as improving them. And we can not continue to take our environment for granted. This Web Site serves as a reminder of how we must face the reality of where our food really comes from and at what cost we get it, because after all, we are what we eat.
