Welcome to my homepage.  It took me a while to get this page up and running, so thanks to all of you coming back after many broken links, misplaced or lost pictures and even a typo here and there.  Please let me know whether you like this site or not—after spending so much time on something, people want to get at least some feedback on their work...

I used to write a lot in college.  If you would like to read some of my work, you'll have to contact me. Here's a sample from 1994.

I got married to Burak Hurbas on August 10, 1996. Here are some pictures from our wedding. We live & work in New York and are happy with our lives most of the times. (Joan Didion’s essay about life in New York pretty much sums up what I often feel here). There are lots of pictures in this album, from our wedding, my brother’s wedding, our honeymoon with friends in the Mediterranean/Aegean as well as our last boat trip.

 I work at Lowe & Partners/SMS, a U.S. advertising agency operating under The Lowe Group, a network with offices in 35 countries. Our business covers a range of diversified assignments including packaged goods, durable goods, retail, financial services and corporate advertising. A few of our clients are: Mercedes-Benz, Diet Coke, Sprite, Sun Microsystems,  Oral-B, Braun, Eddie Bauer, and Sony.

I graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1996. Despite everything that went wrong during the 4 years I spent there, I can now look back and admire the academics that played a key role in constructing who I am now.
