Jodi Devine joined Mount Holyoke College as Executive Director of Professional and Graduate Education (PAGE) in July 2013. She oversees the credit-bearing and non-credit programs offered through Professional and Graduate Education, including the Master of Arts in Teaching, the Master of Arts in Mathematical Teaching, and the Postbaccalaureate Pre-Medical programs, as well as the summer and winter Study Abroad programs.
Devine comes to Mount Holyoke after serving as Associate Director of Executive Education and Adult Programs in Brown University’s Office of Continuing Education. At Brown, she was developing an Executive Master in Strategy and Data Analytics program. She helped to create and served as Interim Director of the IE Brown Executive MBA program, a joint venture with the Instituto de Empresa (IE) in Madrid, Spain. She was the Director of Special Students, a program in which non-matriculated students enroll in Brown undergraduate classes; Director of Continuing Studies, a non-credit program for adults in the evening; and Director of the Brown Writers’ Symposium, a week-long residential program for adult writers of creative nonfiction. Devine also worked with instructional designers on the online team to edit and revise courses in the Executive Master in Healthcare Leadership and Pre-College Online programs.
Devine has taught English in grades 7-12 and at the university level and was a developmental editor with a college textbook publisher. She has a B.S. in business with an English minor from Skidmore College, an M.A. in English from DePaul University, and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Delaware.
