Women Leading Change

Image of Katherine Sandoz ’91

Mount Holyoke alumnae step toward issues, solutions, and change. They know that bold moves matter.

Intrepidness is, in fact, a cornerstone of a Mount Holyoke education. Along with providing a rigorous liberal arts curriculum, Mount Holyoke specializes in challenging smart, determined women to take the lead: intellectually, creatively, and globally.

And they do. From Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights to Arctic explorers, Mount Holyoke alumnae demonstrate what happens when innovation and imagination merge with the ability to think critically. They show how a women’s college education rooted in the liberal arts is the best preparation for career success, especially in a time when new fields are emerging every day.

It’s a legacy that keeps growing. Likewise, we’ll continue adding alumnae profiles during the months ahead. Please visit again to get acquainted with even more Mount Holyoke changemakers.
