What's a Virtual Practice Room?

It’s anywhere you want to be. In Mount Holyoke’s Wenger V-room, students can easily change the acoustics to hear how they will sound in a wide variety of world-class venues, from a concert hall to a Gothic cathedral to a stadium. The incredible acoustics of the V-room give musicians a chance to prepare for performances in a realistic-sounding environment.

Students practicing in the College’s virtual room are surrounded by examples of the simulated acoustical environments available at the push of a button on the "V-Room" control panel.
