The Classroom Experience

Mount Holyoke’s art and art history department (architecture, art studio, and art history) offers numerous courses with significant architectural content, among them Greek Art, Roman Art, Age of Cathedrals, Italian Renaissance Art, and Modern Architecture, and courses on the arts of China, Japan, Islam, and India. Students may also include courses in anthropology, computer science, environmental studies, geography, history, math, and physics in their major.
